If you are looking for a unique location for your corporate hire event in Dumfries and Galloway, Penninghame Estate can assist you. Our dedicated function room, situated in Cree Hall can accommodate up to 40 people for seminars and conferences on site in comfort, whilst our vast outdoors space is perfectly suited for larger events.

As you access the estate via the long sweeping drive, your first glimpse of the castle never fails to impress. Creating an air of anticipation as you reach the house.
Inside, the interiors have been lovingly restored to their former Victorian splendour. Particular features include a dramatic sweeping oak staircase leading to a grand piano in the vast high-ceilinged hallway. Antique mirrors and period artworks adorn all of the walls. There are traditional feature fireplaces and sumptuous period furniture. And each of the bedrooms in the main house has a traditional four poster bed.
Many castles can be dark spaces for filming but Penninghame’s large period windows throw tons of natural light into the house and offer spectacular views of the gardens, river and the mountains beyond.

MEETINGS & SEMINARS
Located near the south entrance to the estate, Cree Hall offers a modern meeting venue, set in the tranquillity of the Scottish countryside. This up-to-date facility offers superfast broadband, with a large room for the bigger conference and a smaller room for more intimate meetings.
Team building courses can use this space, as well as other groups looking for a space to work. Please phone the office to reserve your space as the Hall usually books up quickly. Where could be better for a work meeting than in the beautiful grounds of Penninghame Estate?
OUTDOOR EVENTS
With magnificent views across the Penninghame parkland and the impressive backdrop of the house itself, our beautiful woodland, terrace lawn, courtyard and gardens can be used for a variety of outdoor parkland events, including concerts, re-enactments, festivals, fairs and competitions.

The Galloways and Dumfries landscape of mountains, rivers, lochs, ancient woodlands and farmland has remained unchanged for centuries. Vast panoramic views of unspoilt nature that show none of the signs of 21st century life. The South West of Scotland is known for its mild climate and a varied landscape including attractive coastline with beautiful beaches.
