Description
We are incredibly lucky to be located on the west coast of Scotland with some of the best fish and shellfish on our doorstep. Our one day fish cooking class is an introduction to all the necessary techniques to prepare and cook a fish. You will also learn what to look for when buying fresh fish, how to ensure its from a sustainable source and storage techniques to a range of recipes that are easy to achieve at home. This class is a must for those that want to up their fish cooking game. You will have the opportunity to fillet a fresh mackerel and become confident in pan frying techniques, handling shellfish and much more. By the end of the day you will have the confidence to understand what you should buy and how to cook it to perfection. We will also make accompanying dishes so that you can create meals rather than just the fish dish itself, thereby giving you complete menus.[br][br]Sample Menu – Please note, recipes and ingredients might change.[br][br]
